Many thanks to my lovely wife for getting me a surprise trip to go and see the brilliant Richard Ashcroft in Manchester for my birthday. (Now come on Dave, you must have heard of him).

To make it even better he was supported by Razorlight (oh come on Dave) and my current favourites The Feeling. (Dave, I give up)

Only draw back on the day was that Take That were also playing Manchester on the same day so we ended having to walk miles before we could get a bus back to the hotel :-)
