Visual Studio Live! Returning to NYC: May 14-17, 2012

Some great news just in from Andrew Brust (co-leader of the NYC .NET Developers Group, Microsoft Regional Director, and newly minted ZD-NET “Big Data” blogger)…

vslive_logoYou guys know that I help lead the NYC .NET Developers Group, but you might not know that I am also the Conference Co-Chair for Visual Studio Live!

Well, with both of those hats on, I am happy to announce that Visual Studio Live! is coming back to NYC.  Specifically we’ll be back at the Brooklyn Marriott from May 14-17.

Visual Studio Live! features some of the best content and speakers you will find at a technical conference.  I should know: Rocky Lhotka and I work to determine the content coverage and select the speakers.  For May’s event, we’ve put together an excellent lineup of sessions on Visual Studio 2010+ and .NET 4+; HTML5; the Cloud; Windows Phone 7, Silverlight and WPF; Data Management; Windows 8 and WinRT.

The full agenda, organized by topic, is posted here:

I hope you’ll find a way to get to Brooklyn for Visual Studio Live! New York.

I’ll be speaking at VS Live! myself on Windows Azure.  (I owe them my abstract, so you won’t see my info up there yet.  But it should be there soon.)  Hope to see folks at this great event now that it’s returning to our area!
