LampGame Update

Despite my lack of posting, work on my ambient game continues.  I'm working 60 to 90 hour weeks these days so I don't have a lot of free time for things like blogging, games, or sleep.  Anyways, here's an updated screenshot from the game, complete with my first pass at rendering "ghosts".  I say first pass in a very literal sense, as they are being rendered to an accumulation buffer which I haven't recombined into the scene yet.  I'm still dealing with all manner of depth buffer issues, ranging from precision & performance to simple order of operations.

So my remaining graphics dev work items are:

  • New Bloom Shaders
  • Corona Post process effect
  • Accumulator add-in
  • Final Skydome with clouds and moon
  • Arena border clouds & fog
  • Particle Effects Engine
  • HDR/tone-mapping investigation
  • Local light
  • Additional Lamp Geometry and lighting shaders
  • Text effects engine
