In this short post I'll summarize the steps needed to setup LinkedIn integration for Dynamics 365....

In this short post I'll summarize the steps needed to setup LinkedIn integration for Dynamics 365. It's just three simple steps to leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator data for your sales activities directly within Dynamics 365:

Download the widget for Dynamics 365 from the LinkedIn website

Please do not unzip the file. You can upload the file right away in Dynamics 365.

Log in to Dynamics 365 and import the downloaded package

Import the downloaded .zip file in Dynamics 365 under Settings -> Solutions -> Import

Sign in to LinkedIn Sales Navigator in Dynamics 365

Enter your login information for LinkedIn Sales Navigator in the widget in Dynamics 365. You'll find on the Contact, Account, Lead and Opportunity forms in a separate tab (please also see screenshot below).

That's everything you need to set up LinkedIn integration for Dynamics 365. And that's how the integration looks like after following the above three steps:

1. LinkedIn Member Profile integration

2. LinkedIn Company Profile integration

Besides the Contact form, LinkedIn integration is available for Accounts, Leads and Opportunities. Also, sales activities like LinkedIn InMails, PointDrive Presentations, and much more can be directly tracked in Dynamics 365.

If you would like to learn more about the Microsoft Relationship Sales solution, find details on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 website. Further information about the LinkedIn Sales Navigator integration for Dynamics 365 can be found on the respective LinkedIn documentation site and the LinkedIn Sales Navigator for MS Dynamics 2016 and 365 Installation Guide.

Have fun trying it out by yourself!

Did you know you can deploy your very own Dynamics 365 30-day trial within just 5...

Did you know you can deploy your very own Dynamics 365 30-day trial within just 5 minutes?

Everything you need to know is the following URL: https://trials.dynamics.com.

After selecting the desired Dynamics 365 app you can choose between the following two evaluation options:

1. Start the Dynamics 365 trial with an existing Office 365 environment

For this scenario, just fill in your work email address that is part of your Office 365 environment and you're good to go.
Please keep in mind: You need to be an Office 365 administrator for your environment, if you would like to set up and manage Dynamics 365. If you're not an admin for your environment, please see option 2.

2. Provision a new Dynamics 365 environment

For this scenario, the best way is to hit the link "Sign up here" and fill in your contact information.

If you're evaluating for development or demo purposes, I always recommend to hit the link "Sign up here" first (as shown under Option 1 on the below screenshot).

After entering your personal details, choose your desired user/environment name and password:

If you would like to populate your new environment with some demo data during setup, you can also choose a scenario from the following ones. Alternatively, either choose "All of these" to get demo data for multiple Dynamics 365 apps or "None of these" to proceed without demo customizations.

And that's everything you need to set up your Dynamics 365 30-day trial. Have fun evaluating Dynamics 365 for your company!

You can build and connect intelligent bots to interact with your users naturally wherever they are with Microsoft Bot Framework — from your website or app to text/SMS, Skype, Slack, Facebook Messenger, Office 365 mail, Microsoft Teams and other cool services.

Here's a short overview of what you need to know to get started:

I put together a list of links I found very useful to get started with developing your very own bot.

I'd like to say a special Thank You to my fellow colleagues Christopher Harrison (@GeekTrainer) and Ryan Volum for putting together the following online course in the Microsoft Virtual Academy:

This course is a great way to start off with creating your first bot — and it's fun to watch, too :)

Berlin: Berlin Microsoft Azure Meetup

Frankfurt: Azure Meetup Frankfurt

Karlsruhe: Azure Meetup Karlsruhe

Köln: Azure Cologne Meetup

München: Azure Munich Meetup

Stuttgart: Azure Stuttgart

Have you ever wondered if there's a simple overview of the Azure platform and its services? There is, in fact a pretty nice one! The Interactive Azure Platform Big Picture offers a categorized overview of Microsoft Azure:

What I personally really like about the interactive Big Picture are the links to further information of the listed Azure services. Here's an example for Azure DevTest Labs:

On the bottom of the selected box you'll find links to resources like overview information, pricing details and documentation of the Azure service. That's really cool if you're working with many different parts of the - admittedly huge - Azure platform. This is how it looks like and behaves:

Go try it out yourself! You can find the Interactive Azure Platform Big Picture under https://azureplatform.azurewebsites.net/. And guess what: the Big Picture is hosted on Microsoft Azure ;-)

ssh username@ip-adresse

# Optionaler Schritt: Ubuntu updaten/upgraden
sudo apt-get update -y
sudo apt-get upgrade –y

# Zwingend erforderliche Schritte:
# Dependencies installieren
sudo apt-get install -y libunwind8 libicu55

# PowerShell-Paket laden
wget https://github.com/PowerShell/PowerShell/releases/download/v6.0.0-alpha.9/powershell_6.0.0-alpha.9-1ubuntu1.16.04.1_amd64.deb

# Ausführungsrechte vergeben
chmod +x powershell_6.0.0-alpha.9-1ubuntu1.16.04.1_amd64.deb

# PowerShell-Paket installieren
sudo dpkg -i powershell_6.0.0-alpha.9-1ubuntu1.16.04.1_amd64.deb

Microsoft Azure Essentials: Fundamentals of Azure

Microsoft Azure Essentials: Azure Automation

Microsoft Azure Essentials: Azure Web Apps for Developers

Microsoft Azure Essentials: Migrating SQL Server Databases to Azure

Microsoft Azure Essentials: Azure Machine Learning

Building Cloud Apps with Microsoft Azure™: Best practices for DevOps, data storage, high availability, and more

Continuous deployment using Microsoft Azure Web Sites
