Service Accounts Step-by-Step Guide Updated in January

Managed service accounts and virtual accounts are two new types of accounts that were introduced in Windows Server® 2008 R2 and Windows® 7 to enhance the service isolation and manageability of network applications such as Microsoft SQL Server and Internet Information Services (IIS). We originally published this step-by-step guide as part of the beta testing of Windows Server® 2008 R2 and Windows® 7 and have been making updates to it since then in response to customer feedback. In January we added additional information about service principal names (SPNs) to clarify that section a bit more. Check it out and lets us know what you think!
