New version of Microsoft's Multilingual App Toolkit adds Xamarin support

If you are developing apps for Windows 8.1, Windows Phone, or traditional desktop applications, you may already be using the Multilingual App Toolkit (MAT) to localize your app into other languages.

Till now, MAT has been focused on Microsoft technologies, but the team has just added Xamarin support which enables localization of Android and iOS apps. This means that you can now localize apps for these platforms and use the full set of language pairs available via Microsoft's machine translation engine Microsoft Translator and the terminology and user interface translations available via the Microsoft Language Portal.

To find out more about the new version (Technical Preview) of the Multilingual App Toolkit, read Cameron Lerum's article on the MAT blog at https://blogs.msdn.com/b/matdev/archive/2014/10/08/mat-v4-0-technical-preview-adds-xamarin-support.aspx.
