The beauty of UFC 2009: Undisputed is the myriad paths to brutal victory it offers. From flash KOs with stand up strikes to merciless ground and pound, face-breaking knees from the clinch and cringe-worthy submissions that find you nearly ripping a limb free from its socket, UFC is strategy-rich for sure.

I was debating the various merits of different tactics with W1GG1N at work yesterday, and while we disagreed on a minor point or two, we're both huge proponents of the game's outstanding tutorial. It's long and involved, and worth every second of time you pour into it. If you haven't explored the tutorial, I urge you to do so. Now! Even if you feel you've got a pretty good handle on the game mechanics, you'll no doubt learn a few new techniques, and, just as importantly, remember the importance of mechanics (particularly in the ground game) you don't often use.

Now go out there and crack some virtual heads.
