Disable the upload data UI

As a workspace admin, you can manage your users’ ability to upload data using the upload data UI.

This setting enables or prevents users from uploading data securely to a Delta table or Databricks File System (DBFS) directly from the homepage, the Data tab, or the File menu in a notebook.

1. Go to the admin settings page.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click the Upload data using the UI toggle.

This setting does not control programmatic access to the Databricks Filesystem, for example through the DBFS command-line interface.
