Medical record number	class.medical_record_number	Provider-assigned internal identifier for a patient's medical record within a hospital or health system.
Health plan beneficiary number	class.health_plan_beneficiary_number	Health insurance member or subscriber identifier, including the US Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI), Medicaid IDs, and commercial insurer member IDs.
Medical license	class.medical_license	Medical provider credential identifier, such as a US National Provider Identifier (NPI) or a state-issued medical license number.
Medical date	class.medical_date	Clinical date related to an individual, such as an admission date, discharge date, or date of death.
Health data	class.health_data	Health or medical information about an individual, including diagnoses, conditions, treatments, or medications.
Biometric data	class.biometric_data	Biometric identifiers such as fingerprints, facial scans, iris or retina scans, or voiceprints.
Genetic data	class.genetic_data	Genetic data, including DNA or RNA sequences, genotype, or genetic markers.
Religious belief	class.religious_belief	Religious or philosophical beliefs, including religion, denomination, faith, or creed.

Regional tags

Regional tags detect sensitive data specific to certain countries or regions. The following regional tags are supported by Data Classification. With the exception of United States tags, which are available in all regions, regional tags are available in Databricks workspaces deployed in the corresponding region only.

United States

These tags are available in Databricks workspaces deployed in all regions.
