Discover and manage data using Data Explorer

Databricks Data Explorer provides a UI to explore and manage data, schemas (databases), tables, and permissions. To open Data Explorer, click Data in the sidebar.

Data Explorer is the main UI for many Unity Catalog features. For more information on Unity Catalog, see What is Unity Catalog?.

You can use Data Explorer to view schema details, preview sample data, and see table details and properties. Administrators can view and change owners, and admins and data object owners can grant and revoke permissions.
