Help students download software developer tools from the Azure Education Hub
Through the Azure Dev Tools for Teaching program, students who have a current and active Azure for Students subscription can download certain software developer tools for free. Azure for Students provides access to all Azure products that are expressly intended to support education or teaching, non-commercial research, or efforts to design, develop, test, and demonstrate software applications for these purposes. Students download the tools from the Azure Education Hub.
Instructions for students: how to download software developer tools
Have your students follow this procedure to download the software developer tools:
Open a browser and go to the Azure Education Hub.
Sign in with your Azure for Students subscription credentials.
Select any of the software developer tools in the Education Hub to open the download pane.
Read the software information to make sure that the software is compatible with your computer system.
After confirming that the software is compatible with your system, select Download.
Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the software.
Azure for Students gives you $100 credit for 12 months. It includes access to more than 25 free services, including compute, network, storage, and databases. Any charges incurred during this period are deducted from the credit.
