It’s common for a data model to have fields that contain numerous distinct values, and when authors use one of these fields in a slicer, they currently have no way of filtering out values displayed in the slicer. Filtering is an essential feature for report authors and provides benefits to the end user; just as users are able to add visual level filters to other visualizations, they should be able to do the same for slicers.
