| None | 0 | No reason or unknown reason. |
| Declined | 1 | The session or participant declined. |
| Canceled | 2 | Operation was canceled (that is, for an Invite). |
| TerminatedLocally | 3 | The local application requested the termination. |
| TerminatedRemotely | 4 | The (last) remote user requested the termination. |
| Busy | 5 | The callee is not willing or able to take additional sessions. |
| TemporarilyUnavailable | 6 | The callee is not available for communication or does not wish to be disturbed. |
| NotAcceptable | 7 | The callee can only generate responses with content characteristics that are not acceptable to the Accept header field sent in the request. |
| NotAcceptableMedia | 8 | There was a problem or the media portion of the session description was incompatible. |
| Timeout | 9 | An operation timed out. |
| Unreachable | 10 | The callee is not reachable. |
| SessionTimerExpired | 11 | The session timer expired. The remote seems to be unreachable. |
| ProvisionResponseReceived | 12 | The session received a provisional response in the range 101-199. |
| SessionDoesNotExist | 13 | The remote does not have the session and sent 481 Bad Call Leg response. |
