Returns the transformed version of the specified type name.

The name of the type.
The transformed version of the specified type name. If no transformer is available, the typeName
parameter value is returned unchanged. The TypeStringTransformer property is null
if no transformer is available.
The SerializeElement method and the SerializeToXmlElement method call this method in order to transform a type name when an earlier version of the .NET Framework is targeted.
