_Type.BaseType Property

Provides COM objects with version-independent access to the BaseType property.

public Type BaseType { get; }member this.BaseType : TypePublic ReadOnly Property BaseType As TypeThe Type from which the current Type directly inherits, or null if the current Type represents the Object class.
This property is for access to managed classes from unmanaged code, and should not be called from managed code.
The Type.BaseType property gets the type from which the current Type directly inherits.
