The converted value of the current String object.

Exceptions

The value of the current String object cannot be parsed.

The value of the current String object is a number greater than Int16.MaxValue or less than Int16.MinValue.

Remarks

This member is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when the String instance is cast to an IConvertible interface. The recommended alternative is to call the Convert.ToInt16(String, IFormatProvider) method.
