protected virtual void OnInitializingNewItem(System.Windows.Controls.InitializingNewItemEventArgs e);
abstract member OnInitializingNewItem : System.Windows.Controls.InitializingNewItemEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnInitializingNewItem : System.Windows.Controls.InitializingNewItemEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnInitializingNewItem (e As InitializingNewItemEventArgs)
The data for the event.
This method enables derived classes to initialize the item with custom default values.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnInitializingNewItem method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
When overriding OnInitializingNewItem(InitializingNewItemEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class' OnInitializingNewItem(InitializingNewItemEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
