DataSourceProvider.IsInitialLoadEnabled Property

Definition

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether to prevent or delay the automatic loading of data.

public:
 property bool IsInitialLoadEnabled { bool get(); void set(bool value); };
public bool IsInitialLoadEnabled { get; set; }
member this.IsInitialLoadEnabled : bool with get, set
Public Property IsInitialLoadEnabled As Boolean

Property Value

false to prevent or delay the automatic loading of data; otherwise, true. The default value is true.

Remarks

Typically the DataSourceProvider runs its query and sets its Data property the first time it is used by a binding or a CollectionViewSource. You can omit this step by setting the IsInitialLoadEnabled property to false. In this case, the application must explicitly call Refresh to cause the provider to obtain its data.
