Form.OnResizeBegin(EventArgs) Method

Raises the ResizeBegin event.

 virtual void OnResizeBegin(EventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnResizeBegin (EventArgs e);
abstract member OnResizeBegin : EventArgs -> unit
override this.OnResizeBegin : EventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnResizeBegin (e As EventArgs)

A EventArgs that contains the event data.

The ResizeBegin event will only be raised if the form's CanRaiseEvents property is set to true.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnResizeBegin method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnResizeBegin(EventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnResizeBegin(EventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
