Retrieves the service object for the specified type.

serviceType: Type

The Type of service object to retrieve.

Object

A service object of type serviceType, or a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if there is no service object of type serviceType.

If serviceType is of type ITypeProvider, IServiceProvider.GetService returns a service object. Otherwise, it returns a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
