Business value

The main account category is often used as a grouping mechanism on various reports. By adding the main account category to the Trial balance list page, you can use the grouping functionality within the grid to group and total main accounts within each category.

Feature details

This feature is automatically enabled and allows you to add the main account category as a column on the Trial balance list page. The option Display main account category has been added under the Columns to display button on the Trial balance page.

This feature was added because of the votes (41) on a feature suggestion on the Ideas site.
