Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Service Update 21064 Release Notes


Service Update 21064 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.2.0 is now available. This article describes the hotfixes and updates that are included in Service Update 21064.

Important

Note: Service Update naming convention has been revised to clarify the link between the version number and Service Update number. For example, Service Update 150 will now correspond to version number 150xx. Occasionally a Service Update will be canceled and all associated fixes will be rolled into a subsequent Service Update. For this reason, Service Update numbers may not always increase incrementally.

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.

Accessibility

  • Hyperlinks within grids were not underlined, making it difficult to identify hyperlinks.
  • When viewing an Instagram post in the Marketing app, some button labels did not contain discernible text.
  • When using the mentions features within a plain text post, the mention flyout did not appear following either character that indicates a mention (‘@’ or ‘#’).
  • When modifying the "Search for team" edit field, the NVDA screen reader did not announce the number of results that appeared after searching for a team.
  • In the recurrence dialogue, the 'End, Duration, Start Range, and End Range form options did not contain labels that complied with the MAS 4.1.2 accessibility standard.
  • In the Mail App dashboard, the set regarding lookup menu decreased in size and the items did not have spacing between them.*
  • The accessibility screen reader did not announce any of the nested interactive controls in a case entity.
  • In the Customer Service Hub, the NVDA screen reader read top navigation (Search, Task Flow, Assistant, New, etc.) as multiple lists rather than a single list.
  • In the Customer Service Hub, the accessibility screen reader did not announce the role and name for the "advanced filter dialog" after selecting the filter button.
  • Accessibility screen readers were not sharing descriptions for the ‘Learn More’ button within global notifications.

Platform Services

  • Performing a search in the lookup field would open the dropdown in a full page.
  • Received emails were not automatically tracked within the Mail App for Dynamics 365.
  • Form components were not listed after importing a managed solution that had a form added.*
  • On mobile devices in offline mode, unpublished profile items that were added by solution imports were labeled as published.

Unified Interface

  • The timeline took longer to load when filters were enabled.
  • When filtering on a lookup column, the filter did not show autocomplete suggestions.
  • When selecting an email in an activity entity, the "insert signature" option was not present.*
  • On the timeline, when selecting a persona icon for the note/task, the icon directed to the task owner page, regardless of the user who left the note. Additionally, the first and last name header for a note was not interactable.
  • When adding an image or link within a timeline note, the dialogue boxes for the attachments overlapped records in the timeline.
  • When using IE11 with rich text editor enabled, the description area for notes did not load when adding a note to the timeline.*
  • In the Customer Service Hub, images added in notes were opened in the .txt format instead of .jpg or .png.
  • On mobile, when selecting any entity from the related tab of either Work Orders, Customer Assets, or Functional Location forms, fields/sub grids related to the selected entity did not load.*
  • Some controls did not render after selecting the send email option from a Customer Journey record and new conditions could not be added.
  • Adding a product-based opportunity line within a new opportunity it was not present within the opportunity grid until after refreshing the page.
  • In the Field Service Mobile app while in offline mode, when video and audio were disabled, an error message was displayed after selecting a video or audio icon in the timeline.
  • The 'Delete Change History' and 'Flow' controls were defined for screen readers as links instead of menu items in the Sales Hub.
  • Unpinned pinned items would revert to being pinned within the pinned menu.*
  • When selecting any record from a record set list the scroll moves back to the first record on the page/list.*
  • On mobile, when adding text to an activity text field, the cursor moved to the left rather than to the right after entering a character.\
  • When using a custom configuration for an email editor, text entry in the email description field was delayed.*
  • When adding an inline image to the description of a reply, reply all, or forward email, the inline image was not present in the sent email.
  • When lots of records were available per entity type, the mention control was not loading records correctly.
  • A large blank space appeared at the top of the Mail App for emails received from contacts with one related case.*
  • On mobile, when creating an appointment and setting the recurrence, the start time and end time did not reflect the selections in the recurrence dialogue.
  • Imported managed solutions did not reflect form customization changes in certain scenarios.
  • The 'New Support Request' command bar dropdown menu was not visible within request in the Core Marketing Engineering app.

Error Messages, Exceptions, and Failures

The following list details issues whose resolutions correct actions that produce errors, unhandled exceptions, or system or component failures.

Platform Services

  • The corresponding error message was not displayed when a sync error occurred after connecting to a network after making a change to a record while in offline mode.*
  • An error occurred when creating a new workflow and selecting the 'opportunity sales process' option in the entity column within a business process flow.
  • An error occurred when navigating to the Activities grid through a site map in offline mode.
  • An error occurred when attempting to delete appmodules.

Unified Interface

  • An error occurred when creating a email with an attachment in the text file (.txt) format.
  • An error occurred when loading an Advanced Lookup control in the Unified Interface.*
  • An error occurred when merging any 2 records when using "Merge records by choosing fields with data."*
