Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Service Update 21083 Release Notes


Service Update 21083 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.2.0 is now available. This article describes the hotfixes and updates that are included in Service Update 21083.

Important

Note: Service Update naming convention has been revised to clarify the link between the version number and Service Update number. For example, Service Update 150 will now correspond to version number 150xx. Occasionally a Service Update will be canceled and all associated fixes will be rolled into a subsequent Service Update. For this reason, Service Update numbers may not always increase incrementally.

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.

Accessibility

  • When selecting the email command bar button in an email grid page and using the email edit form, the lookup field flyout did not comply with the axe-core 3.5 accessibility rule.
  • The NVDA and Jaws/Narrator screen readers did not announce "Saved Successfully" when saving account details in the Customer Service Hub.
  • When expanding the formatting tools in the Rich text Editor, the second row of formatting icons was not fully visible.
  • When using keyboard navigation, keyboard focus could not be applied to a cell within a grid that was displayed in the card view format.
  • The title of the Accessibility Instructions pop-up, “Accessibility Instructions” was not labeled as a level one heading for screen readers and level two headings were announced as a level one heading.
  • When editing an email, the color contrast ratio between the focused control background color and the non-focused control background color was less than 3:1.
  • Within the Customer Service Hub, checkboxes within Audit History were inaccessible via Keyboard navigation.
  • Alt text was not available for icons in the side navigation bar, within Sales Hub.
  • In the Customer Service Hub, when adding content for a Knowledge Article, the content editor did not appear when navigating between Designer, HTML, and Preview, via tab switching (keyboard navigation).
  • When selecting the 'Add Existing Activity' button in the Customer Service Hub, the lookup dialog box did not comply with the axe-core 3.5 accessibility rule.

Platform Services

  • User owned entities could not be deleted by uninstalling a solution or an active customization.*

Unified Interface

  • The fallback option within new Account forms was still enabled after being disabled.*
  • When adding an image to an email, the image upload flyout disappeared while navigating the list of images within the flyout.
  • In the Dynamics 365 for Outlook app, the scrollbar was not displayed when viewing records in Contact/Lead related sub-grids.
  • In some scenarios, keyboard focus would get stuck on cells with hyperlinks when using arrow keys to navigate.
  • When using Rich calendar, the text field did not expand when switched to full screen.
  • When closing the full editor mode in the Rich calendar content editor, the scroll bar did not appear.
  • Rich text editor commands did not display in the Timeline note description.*
  • System settings dialog did not close when pressing the close or OK button, preventing changes from being made to system settings.*
  • Records containing the '@/#' characters opened incorrectly in a new tab.
  • When opening opportunity entity from the sitemap, the command bar ribbon for custom controls did not contain a back button and the icons were incorrect colors.

  • An error occurred when creating a synchronous or asynchronous workflow for an account of any out-of-box entity.

Sales

  • An error occurred when uploading Excel templates.*
  • An error occurred when creating a business process flow in regard to a contact entity.

Unified Interface

  • An error occurred after reopening an application module after it was previously opened and had been closed.*
  • An error occurred when performing bulk edit operations.*
  • An error may have occurred when merging two records with the merge dialog if a lookup field was selected for merging.
  • An error occurred when upgrading the ProjectServiceCore solution to its latest version.*
  • An error occurred on mobile devices when opening the calendar view, and the offline download prompt did not complete.
