About the charges group

The Charges group can be associated with an order at both the order header level and the order line level. Examples of Charges group charges at the order header level are freight, insurance, customs, and postage. Examples of Charges group charges at the order line level are item-based taxes and piece-based freight rates.

In the customer table, you can put a customer in a Charges group. The Charges group code is transferred to the order when you create it. Click Setup to calculate the Charges group.
