Bar code mask characters (form)

Click Retail > Setup > Bar codes and labels > Mask characters.

Use this form to set up mask characters for bar codes. Mask characters are alphabetic characters that are replaced with numbers. Use different bar code mask characters to generate different kinds of bar codes, such as bar codes for products, customers, and employees.

Field	Description
Type	Select the type of mask character, such as a check digit or an item number.
Character	Enter a single character (between A and Z) to represent the selected type.
Description	Enter a description of the bar code mask type and character.
