Exchange rate types (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click General ledger > Setup > Currency > Exchange rate types.

Use this form to set up exchange rate types, which allow you to set up currency exchange rates.

Because a legal entity might have negotiated an exchange rate between two currencies that is different from the negotiated exchange rate for another legal entity, you can select an exchange rate type for each legal entity.

The following exchange rate types are already set up: Average, Budget, Closing, and Default.

Note

(THA) If your legal entity is in Thailand, the Government exchange rate is also provided for you. You can delete exchange rate types if they are not currently being used.
