Filter on action creations (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack

Click Retail > Setup > Retail scheduler > Filter on action creations. Click New to create a new filter.

Note

This form is not available if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is installed.

By setting up an action filter, you can watch for transactions that affect specific fields in specific tables. If a record is created, modified, or deleted in a selected table, the action filter automatically collects information about the change in a preaction. A preaction is a set of instructions about the changes that must be applied at the locations that are affected by table modifications.

Use this form to select the tables to monitor for modifications. If you want to watch for modifications that are made only to specific fields in a table, you can select those fields in the action filter.

You can create action filters for specific stores. Before you can create these action filters, you must set up data distribution locations, such as store locations and registers in each store.

For more information about action filters, see Set up action filters for Retail data.
