Handle messages (form)

Click Human resources > Common > Time and attendance > Handle messages.

Click Production control > Common > Manufacturing execution > Handle messages.

Use this form to send a message to all workers or specific workers who log on to a Job registration form. You can also send a message to specific terminals.

Select workers

Create a query to select workers. This button is available on the Recipients tab.

Select terminals

Create a query to select terminals. This button is available on the Recipients tab.

Fields

Description

Subject

Enter the subject of the message.

From time

Enter the date and time when you want to start displaying the message.

To time

Enter the date and time when you want to stop displaying the message.

Public message

Select this check box to display the message to all workers.

Receipt

Select this check box to require workers to confirm that they have read the message.

Message type

Select the level of importance of the message.

Information

Enter the contents of the message.

Worker

The identifier of the worker who receives the message.

Note

If the message is public, workers are not displayed.

Name

The name of the worker who receives the message.

Note

If the message is public, workers are not displayed.

Read

View whether the worker has read the message. This field is used only if the Receipt check box is selected.

Terminal

The identifier of the terminal that the message is sent to.

Description

The description of the terminal.
