Click Inventory management > Inquiries > Forecast > Supply forecast. Click Inventory forecast.

Click Inventory management > Inquiries > Forecast > Demand forecast. Click Inventory forecast.

Use this form to view the projected inventory transactions and balances for the selected supply forecast or demand forecast line. You cannot modify the information in this form.

The program uses Inventory forecast lines to calculate gross requirements during forecast scheduling.

Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tabs

Tab	Description
Overview tab	View a list of projected inventory transactions for the selected purchase or sales forecast.
General tab	View forecast information for the selected transaction.
Dimensions	View inventory dimensions for the selected transaction.

Buttons

Button	Description
Purchase	Open the purchase forecast that is the source of the selected transaction line.
Sales	Open the sales forecast that is the source of the selected transaction line.
Inventory	View and select the inventory dimensions that are shown in the form.

Fields

Field	Description
Model	The forecast model that the transaction is associated with.
Item number	Identification of the item.
Warehouse	Enter the warehouse where you want to store the items.
Budget date	Valid the date for the forecast transaction on the upper level.
Forecast type	Location from which the forecast transaction originated.
Quantity	Quantity of the transaction, expressed in item units.
Sub-BOM	BOM number of a specific sub-BOM. When blank, the active number is used.
Subroute	Route number of a specific sub-route. When blank, the active number is used.
Configuration	Select an item configuration to specify an item with specific attributes.
Size	The size of the item.
Color	The color of the item.
Batch number	Enter the batch number dimension. If you select Edit lines and Explode lines in the upper section of the Shipment /Receive form, you can modify the batch number for the transfer order line.
Location	Location inside a warehouse. If you select Edit lines and Explode lines in the upper section of the Shipment/Receive form, you can modify the location number for the transfer order line.
Pallet ID	Unique ID for the pallet (Serial Shipping Container Code).
Serial number	Serial number dimension. If you select Edit lines and Explode lines in the upper section of the Shipment /Receive form, you can modify the serial number for the transfer order line.
