Period allocation transactions (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click General ledger > Setup > Periods > Period allocation categories. Click Lines.

Use this form to define allocation percentages for each period and to create the lines for the periods in the period key that you selected in the Period allocation categories form.

The Remaining percentage field is updated as you create lines so that you can see when 100 percent has been reached.

Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tabs

Tab	Description
Overview	Create and view lines for the periods that are included in the selected period key.
General	View the Overview tab information for the selected line.
Financial dimensions	The financial dimensions that were set up in the Financial dimensions form.

Fields

Field	Description
Remaining percentage	The percentage that has not yet been allocated.
Change	Enter or change the line. Each number corresponds to a column in the Period allocation categories form.
Unit	Select the unit for the current line.
Allocation percentage	Enter the individual allocation for the current line as a percentage of the total amount. To view the updated information, press F5 in the Period allocation categories form.
Period key	The current period key that was selected in the Period allocation categories form.
Default financial dimensions	The default financial dimensions for the line that is selected on the Overview tab.
