Gross margin return on inventory investments (GMROII) by category report (RetailGMROIIByCategory)

Use this report to measure inventory productivity by reviewing the gross margin return on inventory investments (GMROII) of product inventory by product category. This report provides a list of product categories, and includes the GMROII percentage and inventory turnover for each category that is included in the fiscal period for the report. Click a category that is listed on the report to open the Gross margin return on inventory investment (GMROII) by products report and view the gross margin return on inventory investment for that specific product.
How to filter the data on this report
When you generate this report, the following default parameters are displayed. You can use these parameters to filter the data that will be displayed on the report. For more information, see Filter the data on a report.

Fiscal periods |
Select one or more fiscal periods to view the gross margin return on inventory investment for product categories that are active within the fiscal periods. |
Printer |
The printer that is currently selected. To select a different printer, click Destinations .... This field is blank if Screen is selected in the Print destination field. |
Print destination |
The destination where the report is produced. Click Destinations ... to change the destination for the report. |
