Caution

The to-do API set built on baseTask is deprecated as of May 31, 2022, and will stop returning data on August 31, 2022. Please use the API set built on todoTask.

Update the properties of a linkedResource_v2 object.

One of the following permissions is required to call this API. To learn more, including how to choose permissions, see Permissions.

Request body

In the request body, supply only the values for properties that should be updated. Existing properties that are not included in the request body will maintain their previous values or be recalculated based on changes to other property values.

The following table specifies the properties that can be updated.

Property Type Description
applicationName String Field indicating the app name of the source that is sending the linkedResource.
displayName String Field indicating the title of the linkedResource.
externalId String Id of the object that is associated with this task on the third-party/partner system.
webUrl String Deep link to the linkedResource.

Response

If successful, this method returns a 200 OK response code and an updated linkedResource_v2 object in the response body.
