Permissions

In delegated scenarios with work or school accounts, the signed-in user must be an owner or member of the group or be assigned a supported Microsoft Entra role or a custom role with a supported role permission. The following least privileged roles are supported for this operation.

Function parameters
You must use the following function parameter to request a timeframe for the response.

period | String | Required. Specifies the time period in days for which you need the usage data. For example: /reports/getCredentialUsageSummary(period='D30') . Supported periods: D1 , D7 , and D30 . Period is case insensitive. |

This function supports the optional OData query parameter $filter. You can apply $filter on one or more of the following properties of the credentialUsageSummary resource.
