As of October 1, 2023, there have been updates to the Azure and Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise grants.
Azure Grant Update Offering
The Azure Grant, previously offering USD $3,500 in sponsorship credit, has been revised to provide USD $2,000 in sponsorship credits.
This change applies to all Azure grant renewals with a sponsorship end date falling on or after October 1, 2023. This update only impacts the total value of Azure Sponsorship credits. All other aspects of your existing Azure credits remain unchanged.
Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise Grant Sunset
Effective October 1, 2023, the Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise grant has been discontinued.
If you have not modified your current Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise grant subscription prior to its renewal date (occurring on or after October 1, 2023), the subscription will automatically renew under the existing licenses at the standard nonprofit discount rate, unless you cancel before your renewal date.
There will be no extensions offered for Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise grants. All subscriptions will transition to the standard nonprofit discount rate at the next renewal occurring on or after October 1, 2023.
Alternative Options
If these changes do not align with your organization’s needs, consider evaluating alternative licensing options. To explore alternatives or transition to a different Dynamics 365 SKU, we recommend working with a Microsoft Partner who can assess available options at standard nonprofit discounted rates.

Office 365 E1 Grant Discontinued
The Office 365 E1 grant has been discontinued. Existing Office 365 E1 grant licenses will expire on your next renewal date and will not renew.
Microsoft continues to support nonprofits by providing up to 300 granted licenses of Microsoft 365 Business Basic, along with discounts of up to 75 percent on many Microsoft 365 nonprofit offers, including Office 365 E1 at nonprofit pricing.
To avoid service disruption or data loss, we strongly recommend transitioning users to Microsoft 365 Business Basic or another eligible Microsoft 365 offer for nonprofits before the Office 365 E1 subscription is cancelled. License transitions must be completed manually in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

To ensure a smooth transition and avoid any impact on your data and users, we recommend transitioning up to 300 of your users from the legacy Office 365 E1 grant to the Microsoft 365 Business Basic grant or another Microsoft 365 offer for nonprofits. To transition users, you will need to manually complete the following steps within the Microsoft 365 admin center:
Replace the licenses by selecting all your users with an Office 365 E1 subscription and choose to replace these users’ licenses with Microsoft 365 Business Basic or another Microsoft 365 offer for nonprofits.
Select your Office 365 E1 subscription and choose to cancel the subscription.

The Microsoft 365 Business Premium grant has been discontinued. Your licenses will expire on your next renewal date and will not renew.
Microsoft continues to support nonprofits by providing up to 300 granted licenses of Microsoft 365 Business Basic and discounts of up to 75% on many Microsoft 365 offers to nonprofits, including Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Microsoft 365 Business Standard.
To avoid service disruption or data loss, we strongly recommend transitioning users to a different Microsoft 365 offer for nonprofits, before the subscription is canceled, to avoid disruption and data loss.
