Business value

Asset auditing is a crucial aspect for every retail store as it involves physically inspecting assets to ensure their proper condition, compliance with standards, and accurate location and ownership. These assets, including refrigerators, coolers, racks, and LED displays, are essential for stocking and selling products. Moreover, they also serve as important touchpoints for customers and sometimes even impact their purchasing decisions.

For instance, if a retail store's refrigerator fails to maintain the optimum temperature for cooling soda-based beverages, and its LED display malfunctions, customers are likely to avoid purchasing products from that store. Therefore, it is essential for store managers to periodically monitor the condition of assets to ensure their proper functioning and maintenance, as it directly affects sales.

Feature details

Store Operations Assist offers retail-specific templates that enable managers to effortlessly create asset auditing tasks and assign them to one or multiple stores. These templates provide managers with comprehensive details about the physical condition of assets, including their operational status, location, and maintenance requirements. Store associates can capture and document asset conditions by answering asset-specific questions and capturing photos using the Store Operations Assist mobile app.

This feature empowers managers to generate reports based on the collected data, providing valuable insights into the state of assets across their stores. These insights can be utilized to ensure compliance with standards, improve asset maintenance and repairs, and elevate the overall customer experience. By efficiently monitoring asset conditions through Store Operations Assist, managers can proactively address any issues and take necessary measures to maintain their retail belongings properly.
