Upon completing development, to ensure official certification of Module 3, please review each of the test cases mentioned below. To ensure an efficient meeting, please review all appropriate documentation and send technical questions to your Business Development and/or Partner Engineering representative beforehand.

Note

  • The Certification Demo can be scheduled with your LinkedIn Business Development point of contact in any order of the above modules as and when development & testing is complete.
  • In the demo, all the module-specific test cases should be covered. If few test cases are not applicable for your integration, call them out and notify proactively if possible to your business development point of contact.
  • LinkedIn will certify based on the complete coverage of test cases in the certification demos.
  • Upon successful certification, LinkedIn will provision your Production API Key
Rule      API requirements
JP-014 RSC Customer Flow:
Demonstrate the ability for a Recruiter customer to create a Job Requisition in your ATS and define it as private
JP-015A Demonstrate that the customer can update above job to public. The customer should view the LI Job Post URL in ATS
JP-015B Demonstrate an RSC customer can update the same job posting created in JP-011 to paid. Confirm the previous LI job post URL shows the job is closed and ATS show the new job post URL.
JP-015C Demonstrate the customer can demote the same job posting created in JP-011 to basic. Confirm that the LI Job Post URL does not change for the customer
JP-016 Non RSC Customer Flow:
  1. Demonstrate for a non Recruiter customer the steps to create a job requisition in ATS and publish a basic job to LinkedIn Job Board (if they have opted in for it)
  2. The customer should view the LI Job Post URL in ATS
  3. The options to make job public/private should not appear for such non-recruiter customer
JP-017 Demonstrate the customer can update the job created in JP-014 to premium. Confirm the previous LI job post URL shows the job is closed and ATS show the new job post URL.
JP-018 Demonstrate the customer can demote the job created in JP-014 to basic. Confirm that the LI Job Post URL does not change for the customer
JP-019 Generic Job Posting Flow:
Demonstrate job attribute mappings are based on LinkedIn pre-defined values (ie. categories, experience level, industries, employment status).
JP-020 Demonstrate ability to post a remote or hybrid location job via workplacetype
JP-021 Demonstrate the ability to view or display the successfully created LinkedIn job posting URL.
JP-022 Demonstrate the ability of a customer to update job properties like description/tittle after a job is created and synced on LinkedIn. Show the change reflected in the Linkedin website for job posting
JP-023 Optional if supported by ATS
Demonstrate the actions that trigger renewing the job posting on LinkedIn. Confirm that the customer understands that RENEW operation will extend the life of job posting by another 30 days.
JP-024 Demonstrate that a customer cannot create/update a job with expiry greater than 180 days on LI
JP-025 Demonstrate the actions that trigger closing the job posting on LinkedIn. Confirm that the LI Job Post URL shows job as closed
JP-026 Demonstrate an error scenario and explain retry logic and logging for failed job sync requests
