Porting Existing Numbers to Microsoft Teams

What information and documents do I need to provide for my port order?
  • Letter of Authorization (LOA) for Mexico (es-mx)
  • A copy of a recent invoice from your current service provider
  • Specify an individual with power of attorney and attach a copy of their ID
  • Transfer Letter – this will be sent to you by the TNS service desk team after you place an order to transfer phone numbers
How long will it take for me to port my phone numbers (approximately)?
  • At least 15 business days
When do phone number ports take place?
  • Ports take place between 02:00 AM to 07:00 AM local Mexico City time. During this time, work is being done to transfer your numbers, and service impairments to your telephony system could happen.  If you need to report any service impairment once the porting window has finished, please contact the TNS Service Desk.
Can I change or cancel my port order?
  • Port cancellations must be requested 3 business days before the approved porting date.
  • If you would like to change the port date, the ongoing port order must be cancelled, and a new order with the revised date has to be submitted.
Can I port some but not all of my phone numbers?
