ApplicationSettings.ShowFileOpenWarnings property (Visio)
Determines if warning messages appear when the user attempts to open files in XML format that contain errors, such as invalid XML code. Read/write.

expression.ShowFileOpenWarnings
expression A variable that represents an ApplicationSettings object.

Remarks
Setting the ShowFileOpenWarnings property is equivalent to setting the Show file open warnings option on the Advanced tab in the Visio Options dialog box (click the File tab, and then click Options).
