2.1.272 Section 9.1.1, Handout Master

a.   The standard defines the element <style:handout-master>

This element is supported in PowerPoint 2010, PowerPoint 2013, PowerPoint 2016, and PowerPoint 2019.

Handouts are saved with 6 slides per page. However, PowerPoint does not read in the handout master style when loading a file as this property is not persisted.

b.   The standard defines the attribute draw:style-name, contained within the element <style:handout-master>

This attribute is supported in PowerPoint 2010, PowerPoint 2013, PowerPoint 2016, and PowerPoint 2019.

Gradient backgrounds are not supported for handout masters.

c.   The standard defines the attribute presentation:presentation-page-layout-name, contained within the element <style:handout-master>

This attribute is not supported in PowerPoint 2010, PowerPoint 2013, PowerPoint 2016, or PowerPoint 2019.

d.   The standard defines the attribute presentation:use-date-time-name, contained within the element <style:handout-master>

This attribute is not supported in PowerPoint 2010, PowerPoint 2013, PowerPoint 2016, or PowerPoint 2019.
