Windows Compound Binary File Format Specification

Specifies the Windows Compound Binary File Format, which is used as the underpinnings of structured storage support for OLE 2.0. A compound file includes a number of virtual streams, each of which behaves as a linear stream even though it may be fragmented on the disk.

Windows Metafile Format (.wmf) Specification

Specifies the Windows Metafile Format (WMF). A Windows metafile—also called a vector image—consists of a collection of records that can store an image. The stored image can be rendered by parsing and processing the metafile structure.

Ink Serialized Format (ISF) Specification

Specifies the Windows Ink Services Platform’s (WISP) Ink Serialized Format (ISF). This format is used to store ink. Ink includes a sequence of strokes, where each stroke is comprised of a sequence of points and may also include pressure, angle, and custom data.
