This article is for commercial marketplace publishers and describes how to enroll your products in the Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) program.
MACC is a contractual commitment customers make with Microsoft to spend a specific amount on Azure over time. Customers can contribute to their MACC by purchasing MACC eligible third-party solutions in the marketplace.
Tip
To see the customer's view of consumption commitment benefits in marketplace, see Azure consumption commitment benefit.
Requirements for an offer to be enrolled in MACC
For an offer to be enrolled in MACC, it must meet all Azure IP Co-sell eligibility requirements. Once these requirements are met, you can expect your offer to be enrolled in MACC within 1 week.
Note
Free and BYOL (bring your own license) offers are NOT considered transactable and therefore do not meet IP Co-sell eligibility requirements or MACC requirements.
Important
Please note that MACC enrollment applies at the offer level. If you create multiple marketplace offers, even for the same product, each offer must be MACC-eligible for your customer to contribute to their MACC.
How to see if your offer is enrolled in the MACC program
Sign in to Partner Center.
On the Home page, select the Marketplace offers tile.
On the Marketplace offers page, select the offer you want to see.
On the Offer overview page, in the Marketplace programs section, the Microsoft Azure consumption commitment status shows either Enrolled or Not Enrolled.
