Feature details

Power BI will be enabling various features to support secured networking practices. Inbound connections to Power BI can be secured by configuring Power BI to use Azure Private Links for an entire Power BI tenant. For more information, go to Private links for accessing Power BI.

Outbound connections will be secured by configuring Power BI VNet support as part of the Microsoft Power Platform VNet connectivity feature. For more information, go to Virtual network connectivity for Microsoft Power Platform.

In addition, Power BI now partially supports Azure Networking routing and firewall rules using Azure Networking Service Tags. Full support will be enabled during March 2021.
