Business value

You can now use natural language statements to define calculations and help speed up the time to insights. Traditionally, you would be required to write DAX from scratch or use a built-in template. With this new capability, DAX measure suggestions are automatically generated from your input. We hope this will help beginners quickly perform basic calculations easily and help seasoned DAX developers generate more sophisticated calculations in less time than before.

In this new update, you can generate DAX measures using natural language statements. Statements can include simple mathematical operations, time-based calculations, if conditions, text concatenation, and more.
