Business value

Organizations that want to use custom connectors as part of their broader application lifecycle management (ALM) strategy now have simplified interfaces to create and update those connectors using the developer tooling available from Power Platform.

Feature details

Custom connectors are developed and implemented in a way that isn't amenable to pro-code developers or enterprises that have implemented ALM control. Engaging the pro developer in environments they're comfortable with is an essential attribute for fusion development. This feature will allow developers to have the ability to create and update custom connectors using the following tools:

  • Command line interface (CLI)
  • Visual Studio Code
  • GitHub Actions
  • Azure DevOps tasks

Now, pro developers will be able to create, update, and remove custom connectors in their Power Platform environment using their favorite set of tools and support their organization’s ALM controls.
