Business value
Reduce the number of decisions a maker needs to make for adding knowledge to their copilot by offering a copilot connector that has both Power Platform connectors and Graph connector functionality, making it easier for makers to adopt copilot for their existing ecosystems.
Feature details
Makers can use out-of-the-box copilot connectors in Copilot Studio studio to create knowledge and take action for their agents. With this feature, makers can create a single connector that can be used for both connecting to knowledge sources and taking action.
Knowledge is retrieved from Microsoft 365 Graph to provide richness in responses by including productivity data along with business data from connected third-party systems.
Using a single connection means:
- Makers can use a single connection for both knowledge and actions by combining the functionality of Power Platform connectors and Graph connectors into copilot connectors.
- Makers will no longer need admin intervention to set up a connection with Graph capabilities.
- Makers will have the same access to view and modify information through a copilot extended with copilot connectors as they would if they were logged directly into the third-party system.
