Examples

-----------EXAMPLE-----------------

Get-SPServiceApplication -Name WordServices1 | Set-SPWordConversionServiceApplication -TimerJobFrequency 30

This example sets the timer job frequency of the WordServices1 application to 30 minutes.

Parameters

-ActiveProcesses

Specifies the number of conversion processes on each machine on which the service application runs. This value is equivalent to the number of simultaneous conversions. The default value is 8.

The type must be a valid integer in the range from 1 to 1000.

Type:Int32
Position:Named
Default value:None
Required:False
Accept pipeline input:False
Accept wildcard characters:False

-AddSupportedFormats

Specifies a set of file formats to be enabled for use by the service application.

The value must be a comma-delimited list of one or more of the following: docx, doc, mht, rtf, xml.

Position:Named
Default value:None
Required:False
Accept pipeline input:False

-AssignmentCollection

Manages objects for the purpose of proper disposal. Use of objects, such as SPWeb or SPSite, can use large amounts of memory and use of these objects in Windows PowerShell scripts requires proper memory management. Using the SPAssignment object, you can assign objects to a variable and dispose of the objects after they are needed to free up memory. When SPWeb, SPSite, or SPSiteAdministration objects are used, the objects are automatically disposed of if an assignment collection or the Global parameter is not used.

When the Global parameter is used, all objects are contained in the global store. If objects are not immediately used, or disposed of by using the Stop-SPAssignment command, an out-of-memory scenario can occur.
