Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset 6.5 (Microsoft DaRT) lets you diagnose and repair a system that has problems starting or has other issues. Microsoft DaRT includes the following tools:

  • Crash Analyzer. Lets you examine a Windows crash dump file for the problem that caused the system to fail. For more information about how to analyze a system crash, see Crash Analyzer for MSDaRT 6.5.

  • ERD Commander . Provides utilities and wizards that help perform system diagnosis and repair procedures, such as recovering data, disabling problematic drivers, and removing hotfixes. For more information about diagnosing and repairing systems, see ERD Commander in MSDaRT 6.5.
