Gets or sets an XML qualified name that identifies the security token type.

Property Value

The security token type. The default value is Kerberosv5APREQ.

Exceptions

Exception type	Condition
System.ArgumentNullException	ValueType is set to null.
SecurityFormatException	ValueType is not set to Kerberosv5APREQ.

Remarks

When a KerberosToken2 is added to a SOAP message, the ValueType attribute of the <BinarySecurityToken> element is set to the value of the ValueType property.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
