Acquisition methods (form)

Click Fixed assets > Setup > Acquisition methods.

Use this form to define the ways in which you can acquire assets, such as through purchases or donations.

When you enter assets, you can provide an acquisition method in the Value models or Depreciation books forms.

You can delete only acquisition methods that are not currently selected for fixed asset value models or depreciation books.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Fields

Field	Description
Acquisition method	The unique identifier for the acquisition method. After you save the acquisition method, you cannot change this field.
Description	A short description of the acquisition method. You can change the description at any time.
