Address purpose (form)

Click Organization administration > Setup > Global address book > Address and contact information purpose.

Use this form to create new purposes for addresses that your organization can to assign to address records. You can also update default information for addresses and contact information that already exist.

Buttons

Button	Description
Translation	Open the Translation form, where you can view translations of address and contact information purposes. For more information about how to view translated data, see Working with translated address information.

Fields

Field	Description
Purpose	View or enter the purpose of the address. For example delivery or payment.
Description	View or enter a description of the address purpose. For example, all deliveries.
Postal address	Select this check box if this address purpose is used for a postal address.
Contact information	Select this check box if this address purpose is used for a contact information type.
